Design freedom by Solar Space
Ian Cubitt's Classic Home Improvements have released the new Solar Space Frameless Awning System into their range of awnings.
Ian Cubitt's Classic Home Improvements currently specialise in pitched and gable awnings with a large range of roofing to suit the needs of the homeowner.
Some of the roofing products available include a range of polycarbonates thus allowing the new range to offer the full picture.
While traditional roof structures require a roof framing system of rafters with purlins or battens, the new connection system enables large spans of interlocking roofing panels for sloped, curved and gable applications without the need for substructure.
This has been achieved by a new aluminium connection system for the Danpalon sheets that sits on top of the roof locking all panels together and providing a flush ceiling like finish on the underside that lets light in and keeps heat out.
The Solarspace system provides a positive mechanical lock between the sheets while still allowing freedom of movement, a crucial factor in ensuring long life of the sheeting.
The need for screw fixings through the sheeting is eliminated which gives a clean uninterrupted appearance.
The sloped or skillion design is engineered for free spans of up to 5 metres having a continuous aluminium connection at the wall of fascia as well as on an outer beam.
The pitched gable design can span 6 metres using a special aluminium ridge and connection section and attachment to outer beams and the curved design can span up to 7.5 metres.
The Danpalon panels are available in a range of colours including clear, bronze, grey, opal and the new heat reflecting Heatstop.
So if you are looking to make some major improvements to your family home, look no further than Ian Cubitt's Classic Home Improvements.
